六年级英语作文写作要点有：了解字数要求、了解写作主题、构思中文内容。
1、了解字数要求
一般情况下是“不少于五句话”，有时候是“不少于40个词”等等，下面构思作文的时候可以根据字数要求调整内容。
2、了解写作主题
比如介绍家乡、我最真欢的季节、我的周末等等。如果作文的题且已经给出那么也可以围绕题目来写；如果作文的题目没有给出，可以先自己拟定一个题目。
3、构思中文内容
